Istanbul Altınbaş University accepted its first students to the Accounting and Audit Master's program in the 2021-2022 Academic Year.

• The aim of the program is to enable students to specialize by providing in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of accounting and auditing, to develop academic research skills, to provide business world and professional preparation, to emphasize ethics and professionalism, and to provide the ability to conduct research at the graduate level. This program offers students opportunities to pursue a career in accounting and auditing or pursue an academic career.

• The goal of the program is to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills in the fields of accounting and auditing to enable them to specialize, improve their academic research skills, make a successful career in the business world or pursue an academic career. This program also aims to provide students with the ability to conduct independent research at the postgraduate level while providing training in ethics and professionalism. With these goals, the program offers students opportunities to grow as highly qualified experts in the fields of accounting and auditing.

Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive a Master's Degree in Accounting and Audit.

Within the framework of the regulations of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the results of the ALES exam, which is held centrally for student admission to graduate programs in Turkey, are based on the student's performance (grades) in undergraduate education and interview results. Student admission to the master's program is not dependent on a central process and is made by the relevant university. The requirements to enroll in Master of Business Administration Programs are as follows: • Having a 4-year undergraduate degree, • For thesis programs, at least 55 points in Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES). • To declare the exam result document showing the English level for English programs. Candidate students who do not have sufficient ALES scores can take courses as a "special student"; When these people meet the ALES score requirement, they are registered as normal students and the courses they take as special students are counted in the program, provided that they do not exceed half of the total course load of the program.

Recognition of previous formal learning is done at the national level according to the framework regulations of the Higher Education Institution and the relevant regulations of Istanbul Altınbaş University.

In order to graduate from this program, students must have a GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 and complete 8 courses(including the Seminar) and a Thesis, with a minimum load of 120 ECTS credits.

The Master's Program aims to raise its students as people who will make a difference with their knowledge, equipment and communication skills in their field. During their education, students take basic courses and elective courses in the field of Business Administration and have the opportunity to meet leading academics and professionals of the profession and benefit from their experiences. They develop their own interests through a master's project or master's thesis and gain in-depth knowledge of professional management processes.

The graduates of this program work as experts who add value in the public and private sectors as well as non-governmental organizations. The graduates can work in areas such as strategic planning, production management, accounting, finance, and auditing. Helping students to develop entrepreneurial competencies is also among the objectives of the Business Administration Department.

Students who graduate from this program can apply to PhD programs.
