Istanbul Altınbaş University accepted its first students to the Accounting and Audit Master's program in the 2021-2022 Academic Year.

• The aim of the program is to provide students with advanced education in the fields of accounting and auditing, to provide them with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in these subjects, and to offer career opportunities in these fields. Since it is a non-thesis program, it allows students to develop their knowledge and skills in this field more quickly, without having to write a thesis. The program also aims to provide students with the ability to adapt to current practices and changing legal regulations in the fields of accounting and auditing in the business world.

• The goal of the program is to provide students with master's level education in accounting and auditing, enabling them to specialize in these areas and helping them work in accounting and auditing-related positions in the business world or the public sector. The program aims to prepare students for the accounting and auditing profession by providing students with theoretical knowledge, practical skills, current practices and the ability to adapt to changes in the sector. It provides students with the necessary tools to develop and advance their careers in this field.

Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive a Master's Degree in Accounting and Audit.

Business and Administration

Within the framework of the regulations of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the results of the ALES exam, which is held centrally for student admission to graduate programs in Turkey, are based on the student's performance (grades) in undergraduate education and interview results. Student admission to the master's program is not dependent on a central process and is made by the relevant university. The requirements to enroll in Master of Business Administration Programs are as follows: • Having a 4-year undergraduate degree, • For thesis programs, at least 55 points in Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES). • To declare the exam result document showing the English level for English programs. Candidate students who do not have sufficient ALES scores can take courses as a "special student"; When these people meet the ALES score requirement, they are registered as normal students and the courses they take as special students are counted in the program, provided that they do not exceed half of the total course load of the program.

Recognition of previous formal learning is done at the national level in accordance with the framework regulations of the Higher Education Institution and the relevant regulations of Istanbul Altınbaş University.

In order to graduate from this program, students must have a GPA of at least 2.50 out of 4.00 and complete 10 courses and 1 Project course.

The Graduate Program aims to educate students as people who will make a difference with their knowledge, equipment and communication skills. During their education, students take basic courses and elective courses in the field of Business and get the opportunity to meet and benefit from the profession's leading academics and professionals. They develop their own interests with a master's project or a master's thesis and have an in-depth knowledge of what professional management processes are.

The Master's Program aims to raise its students as people who will make a difference with their knowledge, equipment and communication skills in their field. During their education, students take basic courses and elective courses in the field of Business Administration and have the opportunity to meet leading academics and professionals of the profession and benefit from their experiences. They develop their own interests through a master's project or master's thesis and gain in-depth knowledge of professional management processes.

Students who graduates from master programs without thesis are not allow to apply for studying at programs at PhD level in Turkey.

In order to graduate from this program, students must have a GPA of at least 2.50 out of 4.00 and complete 10 courses and 1 Project course.

Students of the Master program at the Graduate School of Social Sciences at Istanbul Altınbaş University meet with the realities of the business world, meet with the leading academics and professionals in the field, and increase their experience through international and national activities, seminars, conferences and elective courses.
