Aim

  • Altınbaş University Clinical Psychology Master's Programme is designed to produce competent and qualified graduates in the field of clinical psychology. Within this framework, the programme aims to train ethically committed experts who are equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to become clinical psychologists. The programme also aims to provide the knowledge of research methods and statistical information necessary for conducting research in the clinical psychology field, obtaining results and interpreting the results obtained.

Students who graduate from this program will be able to receive the "Master's Degree with Thesis in Clinical Psychology" degree and the title of "Clinical Psychologist". Graduates of Altınbaş University Clinical Psychology Master's Program can continue their academic careers, as well as in psychotherapy and psychological counseling centers, mental health units, health services, hospitals, schools, psychological counseling units of universities and other public institutions (Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Family and Social Services). , Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Defense etc.)

Students graduated from this programme can apply to PhD programmes.

Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate, the following conditions must be met:
a) Successfully complete the credit courses and seminar course in the curriculum in which the student is enrolled
and to have a GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00.
b) To be successful in the thesis defense exam.
c) To meet the other requirements for graduation approved by the Senate.
ç) To submit at least three bound and electronic copies of the master's thesis, which are deemed appropriate in terms of form to the Graduate School within one month from the date of entry to the thesis exam.
