İstanbul Altınbaş University accepted its first students to the Master of Business Administration program in the 2011-2012 Academic Year.
Students who complete this program successfully are granted a Master of Business Administration Degree.

Within the framework of the regulations of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the results of the ALES exam, which is held centrally for student admission to graduate programs in Turkey, are based on the student's performance (grades) in undergraduate education and interview results. Student admission to the master's program is not dependent on a central process and is made by the relevant university. The requirements to enroll in Master of Business Administration Programs are as follows: • Having a 4-year undergraduate degree, • For thesis programs, at least 55 points in Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES). • To declare the exam result document showing the English level for English programs. Candidate students who do not have sufficient ALES scores can take courses as a "special student"; When these people meet the ALES score requirement, they are registered as normal students and the courses they take as special students are counted in the program, provided that they do not exceed half of the total course load of the program. For candidates who apply to English programs and do not have a valid English exam score, to be successful in the Istanbul Altınbaş University English Proficiency Exam.
Recognition of prior learning is subject to the framework bylaws at national level set by Council of Higher Education and to the related bylaws of Istanbul Altınbas University. Transfer of students among programs within the university is done according to quotas determined by the executive councils of the respective schools.
In order to graduate from this program, students must have a GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 and complete 8 courses (including seminar) and a Thesis with a minimum load of 120 ECTS credits.
Altinbas University Master of Business Administration Program aims to educate innovative and entrepreneurial graduates who possess the necessary knowledge and communication skills to make a difference in their fields. The students at Master of Business Administration Program in Istanbul Altınbas University take a wide range of elective courses throughout their education as well as participate in conferences and seminars, where they find the opportunity to meet the leading academics and professionals in their field and learn from their experiences.
The graduates of this program work as business administration experts who add value in the public and private sectors as well as non-governmental organizations. The graduates can work in areas such as marketing, sales, procurement, logistics, strategic planning, production management, accounting, finance, auditing and human resources. Helping students to develop entrepreneurial competencies is also among the objectives of the Business Administration Department.
Students who graduates from master programs without thesis are allow to apply for studying at programs at PhD level in Turkey.
