Specific Admission Requirements

High school diploma, placement through a nation-wide Student Selection Examination. Providing high school diploma and being placed in the program as a result of the Student Selection Examination conducted through the central system at the national level. Student placement procedures through central system are carried out by Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Relevant information on the placement examinations is available at http://www.osym.gov.tr. International students are accepted to this program. Students who speak Turkish with the decision of the admission commission are placed in the department

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

The recognition and accreditation of students who come to our university through national or international programmes such as Erasmus programme, Farabi programme etc. is done by the approval of Faculty Coordinate Committee. The course content and ECTS credit of prior courses are taken into consideration. For the transfer of prior courses, the course contents of prior courses must comply with course contents of the department courses. The approval of the Faculty Coordinate Committee is also required for the accreditation of prior courses of students who transfer from other universities.

Students must obtain a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and successfully pass all courses on the programme (equivalent to a total of 240 ECTS).

Our graduates generally work in architectural-interior offices, construction sites and construction companies in the private sector

Access to Further Studies

The graduates holding Bachelor’s Degree are eligible to apply to Master’s Degree programmes at national level and /or international level both in the same and in related disciplines.

Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate, students are required to complete 240 ECTS course load and fulfill the requirement of external internship. A student completing the course load in the program must obtain a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

Facilities

Applied courses in our department are carried out in Design Studios and Model Workshops. Computer courses are given in the computer laboratory. The academic staff of our department consists of 3 full-time Asst. Prof , 9 instructors and 2 research assistants.
