İstanbul Altınbaş University Civil Aviation Transportaion Management Program opened in 2017-2018 also provide training from the academicians and acknowledged experts in aviation industry. Civil Aviation Transportation Managment Program has a comprehensive academic program based on to solid background about management and aviation industry and also prepare graduates for an aerospace career.

Students who successfully complete this program will be eligible for the "Civil Aviation Management" Associate Degree Program.

The students are accepted with the Central Placement Exam conducted by OSYM. In Central Placement candidates are elected to Civil Aviation Program, by OSYM taking into consideration the preferences regarding the higher education programs and the quotas and conditions of these programs. Students who are entitled to participate in the Civil Aviation Management Program are enrolled by the Office of Student Affairs at the timetable determined by OSYM.

Recognition of prior learning is subject to the framework bylaws at national level set by Council of Higher Education and to the related bylaws of Istanbul Altınbaş University. Transfer of students among programs within the university or from a program at other university is done according to quotas determined by the executive councils of the relevant schools. Courses to be transferred for students transferred among programs within the university or from a program at other university are determined by the relevant school executive board. Courses at enrolled another institution prior to enrolling at Istanbul Altınbaş University are considered for transfer on a course basis even if the student is not a transfer student.

If the student has completed all the courses in the program, there should be no FF, DZ or YZ grades. This program requires a student to have a minimum of 120 ECTS credits and a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 GPA.

Section aims to provide the theoretical and practical information about the legislations subject to the institutions and organizations operating in the civil aviation sector. The curriculum also includes general information about the profession, other than those that fall mainly within the field of activity of ground handling companies. The student who takes general information about the profession will show a dominant attitude in every case. Graduates who find job opportunities in the public or private sectors will add a new one to their gains in the sector every day by constantly renewing themselves.

The Civil Aviation Transport Management Program students can work in public and private organizations operating in the aviation field. In addition to the theoretical information they receive from the instructors of the Civil Aviation Transport Management Program, they graduate with the professional managers from the leading companies of the sector and graduate with the necessary qualifications to get into business life by supporting their training with their internships. Graduates receiving the title "Civil Air Transportation Manager" will be able to be employed by all airline companies, airports, airport ground handling, catering and cargo companies and other aviation agencies.

The 4 year programs that can be transferred with the DGS exam include Business Administration, Logistics Management, Civil Air Transprotation Management, International Logistics, Transportation and Logistics.

Students should complete a minimum of 120 ECTS credits with a Grade Point Average of minimum 2.00 over 4.00 with a minimum letter grade of DD. It is obligatory for the students to complete the internship defined in the program for the specified duration and specified qualification.
