Altınbaş University, based on the principle of life-long learning, can be applied to the higher education in case of complying with the lessons, curriculum and course contents previously taken in another institution, regardless of whether it is gained by formal, widespread (non-formal) "The Regulation Regarding the Transition Between the Programs Associated with Bachelor's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Minor Institutional Credit Transfers" is applied. The exemption exam is held at the beginning of each academic term for the Computer course which is included in the education plans of the programs. Students who think that they provide the learning outputs expected from these courses have the right to enter the exams made. Successful students entering the examination are exempted from the relevant degree in the curriculum.
The students of the Audiometry Programme must succes sfully complete all courses, practices and internships for 120 ECTS in the program with a minimum GPA of 2.00.
Being able to perform reliable audiometric examinations, early detection of hearing in babies, early instrumentation when hearing loss is detected, audiometric support for ENT clinics for individuals with auditory problems, treatment of individuals with auditory problems and taking responsibility for rehabilitation of their life comforts, They are trained by taking theoretical and practical courses aimed at giving them the ability to create working environments. Altınbaş University Vocational School of Health Operating Theater Services Associate Degree Program students are trained by taking basic courses, vocational courses and elective (field / field) courses in their field during their education.
Students who have completed the Associate Degree in Audiometry can work in health centers in universities, Social Insurance Institutions and special hospitals where special hearing tests are conducted when they graduate. It is expected that the operation of audiometrists will be widespread especially in Ear-Nose-Throat Services. In addition, hearing impaired students can also take part in schools. They can open their own hearing centers. They can work in sales and marketing of products in Hearing Sector. OSGB (Common Health and Safety Units) can work in hearing screenings.

In order for a student to graduate from the Audiometry Program, he or she must meet the following conditions: • To achieve all the courses with 120 ECTS credits in the course plan, • Having a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, • Complete 30 days of summer internship.

The audiometry training laboratory was established in a 100 square meter area of Bakırköy Campus. With the technical equipment and equipment in this laboratory; All the applications that an audiometrist needs to know can be done. Audiological room, hearing aids mold workshop, ABR and equilibrium testing room. During the fall and spring semesters in the second semester, they are going to clinical practice in the audiology / audiometry units of the hospitals. In addition to our knowledge of hearing loss and balance disorders, our graduates may perform all audiological tests within their competence. They can advise the patient about treatment and rehabilitation. They also have information about speech disorders and therapy with hearing aid selection and adjustment practices.
