The Master of Strategic Marketing and Brand Management program was established by Altinbas University in 2011-2012 academic year.

Aim

  • The Master Program offers specialized training in global dynamics, business processes, organizational management, financial analysis, data analysis and strategic decision-making techniques to provide the capability to handle the complexity of the business world and being able to conduct academic research, discuss scientific theories, interpret data, and conduct applied scientific work. Within the scope of the program, comprehensive education that includes theoretical knowledge and practical applications in management, marketing, entrepreneurship, operations management, data analysis and strategic decision-making techniques is provided by academicians who are expertized in their fields and have sectoral experience. While the students gain the competence to conduct academic research, a wide pool of elective courses is offered according to their interests so that they can be specialized in the field they choose. Our program provides our students, who aim to be in academic life, the opportunity to improve themselves in terms of literature review, model development, data collection, data analysis and presentation as well.
Objective

  • The Master program aims to ensure that its students become leaders in the field they work in. Our graduates make a difference in their fields with the necessary knowledge and communication skills. Through the conferences and seminars attended throughout their studies, our students have the opportunity to meet academicians and professionals who are leaders in their fields and benefit from their experiences.

Specific Admission Requirements

Enrollment of students in programs at Master’s degree levels in Turkey is done according to the results of a centrally organized academic exam (ALES) according to the Higher Education Act. Students are selected according to their ALES scores and their overall performance in Undergraduate studies.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

Recognition of prior learning is subject to the framework bylaws at national level set by Council of Higher Education and to the related bylaws of Istanbul Altınbas University. Transfer of students among programs within the university is done according to quotas determined by the executive councils of the respective schools.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

In order to graduate from this program, students must have a GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 and complete 8 courses(including the Seminar) and a Thesis, with a minimum load of 120 ECTS credits.
